Orlando Fishing ~ Mosquito Lagoon Fishing

Hi, I’m Captain Rob D’Andrea and I would like to welcome you to my website. I am a full time professional fishing guide and the owner and operator of Central Florida’s most complete fishing guide service Hooked On Fishing Charters. I specialize in Orlando Trophy Bass fishing as well as inshore saltwater fishing on the Mosquito Lagoon and Indian/Banana River for Redfish, Snook, Trout, and Tarpon.

ORLANDO TROPHY BASS FISHING

In Central Florida only minutes away from Orlando area attractions such as Walt Disney World, Epcot Center, Sea World, MGM, and Universal Studios are some of the best trophy bass fishing lakes in the U.S. If you are looking for the excitement and experience of trophy bass fishing while in Orlando visiting central Florida then you have come to the right place.

Come join me on an Orlando trophy bass fishing guided trip on legendary West Lake Tohopekaliga (Lake Toho) and the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes. West Lake Toho in downtown Kissimmee is considered by many to be the top big bass lake in the United States. Central Florida’s Lake Toho holds the B.A.S.S single day tournament record of five bass weighing an incredible 45 LBS 2 OZ!!!. I spend a lot of time on the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes which consists of Lake Toho, Lake Kissimmee, Lake Cypress, and Lake Hatchineha. I’m constantly looking for the best water and conditions on the entire Kissimmee Chain of Lakes to give my clients the best possible chance of a trophy bass. I will use my extensive knowledge, experience, and hard work to give you a memorable Orlando bass fishing charter.

Depending on the weather and the time of year in Central Florida, I also offer guided bass fishing trips on several other Orlando area lakes such as the Conway Chain of Lakes and Butler Chain of Lakes. During the cooler months these deep, pristine, clear lakes in Orlando can produce amazing schooling bass action and 100+ fish days!!. I have been all over the world fishing for many different species in both fresh and saltwater and I have never seen fish of any kind schooling and feeding like these fish do when the conditions are right. They are ferocious, energetic, and extremely strong fighters. This is a light tackle Orlando bass fishing charter experience that must be seen to be believed.

I am a bass tournament angler and full time professional Orlando trophy bass guide specializing in artificial lures and live bait. I enjoy educating and helping anglers of all ages and skill levels from beginners to touring pros. I will personally guide you on your Orlando bass fishing charter. I provide hi-end fishing tackle and a top of the line pro rigged Ranger Comanche bass boat powered by a Mercury outboard to get you to the hot spots safely, comfortably, and quickly.

MOSQUITO LAGOON LIGHT TACKLE INSHORE SALTWATER FISHING

In East Central Florida just 40 minutes from Orlando lies some of the most exciting inshore saltwater fishing in the world. Redfish, Snook, Trout, Tarpon and many other species thrive on our lush grass flats and scenic mangrove shorelines. The world famous Mosquito Lagoon on the Space Coast in East Central Florida is the Redfish and Spotted Sea-Trout Capital of the world. The Indian River and Banana River are legendary for producing excellent fishing for Snook, Redfish, Trout, and Tarpon. This is my backyard and I’ll be your fishing guide on these scenic waters for a truly unforgettable Orlando fishing charter experience.

Mosquito Lagoon near Titusville in East Central Florida is a shallow water sight fisherman’s dream. It is part of the Indian River Lagoon and lies protected within the Canaveral National Seashore and the Merritt Island refuge. This well preserved coastal estuary is approximately 22 miles long. It provides over 25,000 acres of clean grass flats and beautiful mangrove shorelines. It is here that we will be fishing with light tackle for the mighty Redfish and sleek Trout. In this world class fishing area it’s not uncommon to catch Redfish over 40LBS and Trout up to 10LBS. The Mosquito Lagoon holds the only population of Redfish in the world known to live their entire lives inshore, which provides incredible year round opportunities for anglers. In addition to fabulous Redfish and Trout fishing you will enjoy excellent Snook and Tarpon fishing during the warmer months.

The legendary Indian River and Banana River on the Space Coast in Cocoa Beach, Florida offers some of the most diverse aquatic habitats in the world. This section of the Indian River Lagoon in Central Florida contains the best variety of all of our species. I’ll take you structure fishing for the hard fighting Snook along Mangroves, rock ledges, and docks, sight fishing for the mighty Redfish and aggressive Trout on the grass flats, and creek and channel fishing for the acrobatic Tarpon. The Cocoa Beach area of the Indian and Banana River just south of Cape Canaveral is home to many other species of fish you will catch with me on your Orlando fishing charter such as, Black Drum, Mangrove Snapper, Grouper, Flounder, Ladyfish, Jack Crevalle, Bluefish, and Sheepshead.

I am a U.S.C.G licensed Captain and full time professional guide and I will personally guide you on your Orlando Fishing Charter. I will work hard for you using my local knowledge and 25+ years of fishing experience to make sure you have a safe, comfortable, and successful Central Florida fishing trip of a lifetime. I specialize in artificial lures as well as live bait and cater to all levels of fishing experience from the amateur to the seasoned pro. I have a 16′ custom flats boat powered by a quiet and efficient Suzuki Four stroke. This boat is extremely roomy, stable, and provides a comfortable dry ride. All hi-end fishing tackle is included.
